Low Solar Absorbance CARC: Another milestone.

Tactical vehicles sitting in the dessert sun can reach extreme shell temperatures, overwhelming the vehicle’s cooling and electrical systems. The Army needed to address this problem and Hentzen delivered. The LSA CARC product development was the latest in a long line of Hentzen “firsts” in military coating technology. Hentzen’s MIL-DTL-53039 CARC-L is the first and only single-component LSA CARC specifically designed to be a “drop-in” replacement for existing MIL-53039 users. This critical upgrade enables safe vehicle operation in a wide range of environments.
